Kirsty takes the World Record at the World Bog Snorkelling championships 2014:
WOW well done to MySwimKits’s own Kirsty Johnson who has now become the world record holder in the Bog Snorkelling championships .Bog snorkelling is a sporting event that consists of competitors completing two consecutive lengths of a 50m water filled trench cut through a peat bog, in the shortest time possible. Competitors must wear snorkels and flippers, and complete the course without using conventional swimming strokes, relying on flipper power alone. Kirsty decided to enter the event this year as it was a swimming activity she had yet to try and after reviewing the world title times , thought that she might be in with a chance of getting close to the record . Kirsty broke the previous world record set in 2013 with a time of 1:22.56 secs, also making her the Ladies Champion. Kirsty was wearing the Two Bare Feet Snorkel and mask .
Well done Kirsty, what is next!!
